This region is officially recognised as Flemish Ardennes Regional Landscape and forms a popular destination for nature lovers and hikers.
The ridge of the Flemish Ardennes even stretches across the language border and seamlessly joins the Hainaut Pays des Collines, creating a beautiful cross-border landscape.
