Osteopathy
Restore balance and health
Osteopathy is a holistic manual therapy aimed at restoring freedom of movement in the body. It is based on scientific disciplines such as anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. By identifying and treating movement restrictions in tissues, osteopathy helps reduce pain, promote recovery and support your overall health.
This therapy is a valuable complement to classical medicine and is used for a variety of complaints. Thanks to the manual nature osteopathy offers a safe and personalised treatment method tailored to each patient's needs.

Osteopath
Aurélie Batteauw
Welcome to the practice of osteopath Aurélie Batteauw, where personal attention and professional care are key. My mission is to alleviate your complaints, rebalance your body and improve your well-being. Through osteopathy, I offer an effective and holistic approach to various complaints.

What to expect
Alleviating complaints
At an initial consultation, extensive time is taken to discuss your medical history. This history helps rule out possible serious causes and identify the underlying cause of your complaints. This is followed by a targeted physical examination, in which we identify the source of your complaints.
An osteopathic treatment is always tailored to your specific situation. Techniques range from gentle manipulations to mobilisations and stretching. In addition, I provide insight into the cause of your complaints and reach out with advice to adjust your lifestyle and habits where necessary. This personalised approach ensures that you not only benefit from the treatment, but can also contribute to your health yourself.

Did you know that treatment is partially reimbursed by the health insurance company? You will receive up to €10 per session, with a maximum of five sessions per year.
Programme and Treatment
An osteopathic treatment takes 45 minutes on average. During the first appointment, I conduct a comprehensive history taking stock of your medical history. I then examine your body to identify the primary cause of your symptoms and provide targeted treatment.
Usually, 3 to 5 sessions are required, with an interval of 2 to 3 weeks in between. If available, bring additional medical data such as an RX or CT scan. These can provide valuable insights for a targeted approach.

Osteopathy for Adults, Children and Babies
Osteopathy is suitable for everyone - from babies to adults.
In adults, various techniques, such as gentle manipulations, stretches and reflex massages, are used to restore the mobility of joints, organs and other structures. This helps the body regain its natural balance.
For babies and children, osteopathy is an extremely gentle and safe method of treatment. With subtle techniques, tensions and blockages are resolved, which can contribute to better development and overall health.

What does an Osteopathy Treatment involve?
An osteopathic treatment starts with a thorough intake and physical examination. I then treat not only the symptoms, but also the underlying causes of your complaints. During the process, you will gain insight into the origins of your complaints and practical advice for a healthier lifestyle. All this contributes to a sustainable recovery.
On average, a few treatments are required. This approach is tailored to your unique situation so that you receive the best possible care.
